FIT (Frauen in die Technik – “Women into Technology”) aims to encourage young women to broaden their horizons and consider studying technology and/or natural sciences when planning their future occupations.

Description of the tool

The annual three-day FIT information days (most recent: January 29-31, 2018) offer female students an appealing and varied choice of workshops, lectures and lab projects at various universities, giving them a taste of university environments, as well as an opportunity to meet potential employers, chat to students, and ask questions in a casual context. At TU Wien workshops are held in all eight faculties.

Wirkungsweise, Erfahrungen:

Every year around 200 young women take advantage of the FIT information days.
