Networking, dialogue, and career development support for female academics preparing for habilitation at the University of Salzburg.
Description of the tool
The “Habilitanda” forum connects female academics at the University of Salzburg who are preparing for habilitation. Experiences and knowledge are exchanged between female colleagues in moderated conversations, possible perspectives and strategies concerning the habilitation process and future academic careers are examined. The specific configuration depends primarily on the issues raised by the participants. “Habilitanda” offers regular, open events “behind closed doors.” Meetings occur at regular intervals.
How the tool works, practical experience
The number of participants in the networking forum is growing constantly and the opportunity for dialog and networking is considered to be of great importance.
